| Startouched Peak
The very height of Unicorn Mountain, stretching thousands of feet into the air. They say you can touch the stars from here, but it's also a very long way down. A very secluded, cold place.

| The Raining Cliffs
The east slope of the mountain, over which it almost constantly rains. This side of the mountain has many thousands of cliffs, caves, waterfalls and other wonders, just waiting to be discovered.

| Goldwater Creek
A large creek running around the base of the mountain, with waters that give off golden (though harmless) sparks. The plant life around the creek is unusually lush, and very beautiful, making the creek one of the most wondrous places on the Mountain.

| Porcupine Dropoff
The most dangerous location on the Mountain, with random precipices occurring in unlikely places. These precipices' bottoms are littered with sharp rocks, deadly to the unicorn unfortunate enough to fall on them without meaning to. Be very careful, for predators also lurk around every corner.

| Purity Falls
A great waterfall, pouring down the bottom quarter of the mountain to a deep pool below. Unicorns can come here to replenish their magic when it runs low, or just to relax and meet others.

| Flaming Slope
A strange place on the southwestern side of the mountain. The trees here are perpetually burning, but the flames never spread. There has been the occasional unicorn's ghost seen here as well, but no one knows just how many there are, or if there is just one haunting the Slope.

| Whispering Glade
A lovely glade, lush and green, filled with fallen-down trees and plenty of shelter. An excellent place to meet new unicorns, and filled with magic.

| Breeding Pond
A quiet, serene little pond, surrounded by thick forestation and brush. Unicorns generally come here to mate with their loves. [NO GRAPHIC BREEDING]

| Miracle Hollow
A secluded little hollow, deep in the forest, where mares can come to give birth. [no graphic birthing]

| The Stud Plain
A deserted, private plain with many cliffs rising up around it to shelter the unicorns within. This is where single mares without a mate come to breed with available stallions. [NO GRAPHIC BREEDING]

| Windy Mountains
The mountains west of Unicorn Mountain, smaller than the Mountain itself but still formidable. They form a small, barren range, but there are several lush valleys hidden between the peaks that make for some good living if you can find them.

| Silver Lake
A beautiful, huge lake with shimmering silver waters. Though often stormy, and fraught with peril besides (sudden dropoffs, great thorn briars), Silver Lake is a lovely place, located southwest of Unicorn Mountain. It is also surrounded by grassland and a few trees.

| Southern Orchard
A large orchard, directly south of Unicorn Mountain. It is filled with abundant fruit trees (mostly apple) and has a fair amount of grass and small shrubs as well. However, the terra suffers badly in drought years, although for the most part it is a wonderful place to live.

| Leaping-fish Swamp
As befits its name, Leaping-fish Swamp is populated by many fish species, most of which are beautiful and seem to like leaping out of the water, either to greet the unicorns or prey on insects. It is an unusually desolate, murky place for a light terra, filled with mist and mangrove trees as it reaches the sea.

| Shatterblood Abyss
A horrific abyss which cuts thousands of feet into the ground, creating a fearsome gash in the land. Imposing cliffs rise up all around it in the barren, sparsely grassy ground, and a few dead, stunted trees grow on this windswept terrain. The wind smells of death and the faint of heart are advised against coming here.

| The Frostbitten Cliffs
Massive cliffs rise up far to the north, challenging all who approach them. They are almost always covered in ice and snow except in the hottest summers, and even then, frost coats the shadowed areas of the cliffs. A desolate, barely habitable land, but some still manage to survive in it.

| Wildthorn Coulee
The deepest and most dangerous network of coulees in all the land. Cacti and thorn bushes grow everywhere, and haphazard ruts in the earth and empty streambeds create a nightmare of navigation. The good thing about it is that there aren't many predators, and those that are here are typically easy to deal with.

| Fallendark Wetlands
A place of perpetual darkness, but also of plenty. Though insects, fish and frogs abound in this land, plants are also plentiful and grazing is easy. It is the easiest of all the Dark lands to survive in, but not necessarily the safest.

| Spiny Rock
A jagged, dangerous minefield of sharp rocks stretching over several miles in a great band across the top of a barren plain. It is deadly to the hooves, and so most non-flying unicorns choose to avoid it, also owing to the ease with which one can be caught by predators here.

| The Wicked Jungle
An expansive, wild jungle taking up the southeastern coast of the continent. Many thousands of different species live here, but so do deadly, mythical predators. Unicorns who venture here are advised to be extremely wary of what lurks beneath the trees.

| Heartwood Forest
A huge forest, filled with giant trees, west of the Mountain. It is a very warm, humid place, and the creatures which roam here are giants; even the plants are massive. But it is beautiful, and filled with the sound of birdsong, drawing the attention of many creatures for its loveliness.

| Scorpion Desert
A fairly large desert, taking up the middle portion of the continent. The climate here is extremely dry, and extremely hot, but the nights fall to temperatures far below zero. As a result, it's a very dangerous place to stay for any length of time, and no herds are known to roam here.

| Angel's Halo
A huge spire of diamond, stabbing hundreds of feet into the air above. It is a beautiful thing, and a meeting place for many unicorns. Since it is made of solid diamond, it has endured for many thousands of years and is utterly unbreakable.

| Hades' Canyon
A great canyon, cutting thousands of feet into the earth with a sheer vertical drop to the bottom. Though plant life and water abound at the bottom of the canyon, it is virtually impossible to get down into the canyon without wings, and even harder to get out again.
